    BASIC Stamp 1 Serial Adapter

BASIC Stamp 1 Serial Adapter provides serial port based programming capability from a PC running Windows to a BASIC Stamp 1. The BASIC Stamp 1 microcontroller is designed to be programmed from a parallel port on a DOS-based PC. Since then, PC technology has evolved greatly so the BASIC Stamp 1 Serial Adapter can now program the BASIC Stamp 1 via a PC's serial port using the Windows-based BASIC Stamp Editor. One end plugs into a serial cable and the other onto a 3-pin header provided on BASIC Stamp 1 development boards.

BASIC Stamp Activity KitUSB (Text v3.0)

BASIC Stamp Activity Kit - USB (Text v3.0) help you learn electronics and programming side-by-side. Learn circuit-building and programming at the same time with the BASIC Stamp microcontroller. It's a tiny on-board computer like the ones found in many electronic devices. Discover how common components work as you go step-by-step through 40 hands-on activities in the 350-page "What's a Microcontroller?" text. Gain confidence in constructing circuits with schematics and wiring diagrams. Each example program is followed by a detailed explanation so you learn as you go.

Board of Education Shield (for Arduino)

Board of Education Shield (for Arduino) is designed to be physically compatible with any Ardunio Uno or Mega form-factor module. Plug the Board of Education Shield into your own Arduino for convenient breadboard prototyping and servo ports, with no soldering required. This Board of Education Shield is available alone, or conveniently packaged with the classic Boe-Bot chassis, servos, electronic components, and additional hardware in the Robot Shield With Arduino Kit.

    Boe-Bot Elec Component Kit

Boe-Bot Elec Component Kit has everything you need to get your Boe-Bot or Shield-Bot back in working order. This kit is the same bag of electronics — wires, LEDs, sensors, whiskers, piezospeaker,  resistors, capacitors — needed to build the breadboard circuits in the "Robotics with the Boe-Bot" or "Robotics with the Board of Education Shield for Arduino" tutorials.

Continuous rotation servos not included. See the specifications for complete parts listing.

On-chip debug (OCD) interfaces can provide chip-level control of a target device and are a primary vector used by engineers, researchers, and hackers to extract program code or data, modify memory contents, or affect device operation on-the-fly. Depending on the complexity of the target device, manually locating available OCD connections can be a difficult and time consuming task, sometimes requiring physical destruction or modification of the device.

    PING))) Ultrasonic Distance Sensor

Our PING)))™ ultrasonic sensor provides an easy method of distance measurement. This sensor is perfect for any number of applications that require you to perform measurements between moving or stationary objects. Interfacing to a microcontroller is a snap. A single I/O pin is used to trigger an ultrasonic burst (well above human hearing) and then "listen" for the echo return pulse. The sensor measures the time required for the echo return, and returns this value to the microcontroller as a variable-width pulse via the same I/O pin.

    PIR Mini Sensor

Do you have a big idea that needs a small motion sensor? The PIR Mini Sensor's compact form factor is ideal for small-scale projects, and those where the electronics need to be hidden or protected. The narrow, vertically oriented board can slip through a hole in an enclosure to hide and protect the electronics, leaving only the small lens visible on the outside. The PIR Mini Sensor detects motion up to 12 feet (3.65 meters) away. Like the other passive infrared sensors we carry, the PIR Mini is a pyroelectric device that senses and responds to changes in the infrared levels emitted by nearby objects.

    QTI Sensor

The QTI Sensor is an infrared emitter/receiver that is able to differentiate between a dark surface) with low IR reflectivity) and a light surface (with high IR reflectivity). These little sensors can be very handy for line following, maze navigation, or sensing the outer rim of a SumoBot ring. Wiring options allow it to be used digitally for fast black/white line following, or as an analog sensor to detect different shades of gray. A daylight filter is built into the sensor.

    Robotics Shield Kit (for Arduino)

Robotics Shield Kit (for Arduino) turns your Arduino into the brain of your mobile robot. Learn about robotics, electronics and programming with this versatile kit and its accompanying step-by-step lessons. The Board of Education Shield plugs into your own Arduino (not included) and mounts on the popular Boe-Bot robot chassis. With over 40 hands-on activities, you can learn how to incorporate Arduino into your robotics project.

Robotics with the Boe-Bot Parts Kit

Robotics with the Boe-Bot Parts Kit is a compact, high-quality chassis kit. It has the ability to turn any of Board of Education development platform into a rolling robot. The included electronics pack includes all of the components needed to build three sensor systems for your autonomous roaming robot.

    SumoBot Competition Kit

SumoBot Competition Kit includes two high-quality SumoBot® Robots designed to wrestle in their own mini-sumo competition ring! Follow the SumoBot Manual assembly instructions and test programs to go from basic moves to one-on-one combat. Give these robots a competitive edge and expand your skills by following the step-by-step activities in "Applied Robotics with the SumoBot" - an advanced text in our Stamps in Class series.
